Biopsy Foam Pads
Absorbent polyurethane biopsy foam pads to hold biopsy specimens in place during tissue processing and prevent specimen loss.
Product Description
Biopsy foam pads are placed over small tissue specimens inside embedding cassettes to hold them securely in position during tissue processing, preventing them from being lost during agitation. The open-pore polyurethane foam is fully permeable to all histology processing reagents.
Applications: Needle core biopsies, punch biopsies, small endoscopic biopsies, any small specimen at risk of displacement during processing.
Usage: Place specimen on cassette base → place foam pad on top → close lid. The foam compression holds the specimen in position.
